Brooklands of Bond Street purchased the last sixteen 2.6 mk 2 chassis's which they had bodied by Tickford,. These are the chassis numbers of the cars made, do note that they were not sold in numerical order, and no 4-door saloons were made.

Brooklands of Bond Street 2.6/3.0 cars
This blue 3.0 dhc (536) is the ex. London motor show car, purchased by the famous actor Peter Ustinov. It was sold when new with the 2.6 litre engine on the understanding that when the VB6J 3.0 engine became available this would be fitted. Note the engine bay with the 2.6 litre car radiator, the earlier style thermostat housing. Note the oppulent interior with leather and walnut and the wonderful early style seats with two arm-rests. Also the mk 1 style dash-board with the ignition cluster unit on the left hand side. The car in long term ownership of 47 years, in fine fettle and a delight to be inside.
