The Lagonda 3,0 mk2 saloon's  start with chassis number LB290/1/170, registered in October 1955.  The last saloon sold was chassis LB290/1/262 and this was registered on  1st of June 1957.

These cars were never available or sold in left hand drive form, which in my opinion was a marketing mistake.

No automatic cars are recorded in the club registry, although it has been suggested that one car was sold with an early 2-speed B&W type slush box.

Sun-roofs were a factory option in period, and this consists of a sliding wooden panel with fabric covering, and an internal locking handle.

In car heating via a Smith heater unit to both front and rear passengers was a standard feature.
