The Blog - restoration section has now started at last. I have been very fortunate in that an owner of one of the Brooklands 3.0 dhc's has kindly granted me access to his file of pictures relating to the restoration of his car.

The sheer diversity and range of pictures available has allowed me to show many of the key problem area's on these cars after suffering may UK winters. Their complexity, with an ash frame, aluminum body panels, steel chassis and steel floor pans and bulkhead gives rises to a range of problems.

The finished result and determination of the owner to achieve this are most impressive.

The pages and sub-pages for the various Lagondas produced from 1945 through to 1952 are no pretty well complete, and well worth a look.

I am still short of some good images of a current road worthy 2.6 mk2 saloon. The pictures I have used are from a car seen on ebay back in 2010, with engine/box missing.

Currently, the special bodied cars section has no pictures or detailed information, this will be rectified in the future.

This is the first post in my new blog and the launch of a new web-site devoted to an indepth overview and presentation of the post-war Lagondas built by Aston Martin Lagonda under the ownership of David Brown.

Due to the scale and size of the work involved, this site will be very much a work in progress for a fair while. I invite your feedback and suggestions as this moves forward.
